10645 Esther Ave
(Rancho Park) Los Angeles, CA

First a bathroom, then a kitchen, Esther Ave was one of 10-19 Architecture's first residential commissions in Los Angeles.  No ordinary structure, the new master bath comes in the form of a glass pavilion.  Extending into the garden, the full-height glass addition elevates what could have been a mundane everyday routine into a heightened sensory experience of light, body, and sound.

Likewise, with precise planning, careful detailing, and a warm material palette, the kitchen makes the most out of a formerly tight and divided space.
