10-19 Architecture

The brief at 529 Rialto called for enclosing a terrace and adding new guest  suite, powder room, master closet, and rooftop entertaining spaces to an existing 3-story house—all without increasing building square footage or altering the original structural envelope.  Although spacious and contemporary, the existing house stood with only 2 bedrooms and in dire need of repair.  We completely renovated the building, giving it new finishes and improved feeling/function throughout.  The resulting house has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, over 3,000 square feet of living space, and most importantly, a new life as a modern home.
